Great heat in a small space February 14, 2008 T. Nelson (Estes Park, CO USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We put this heater in an old soft top Jeep and it's amazing. Most days here in Colorado we have to turn it down to medium once the engine is warm. The install was pretty easy too, it took us longer to get the old heater out. Highly recomended.
Heater for my rock crawler January 7, 2010 Kirk S. Nelson (Springfield, MO) I purchased this heater last year before taking my Poison Spyder Bruiser to Moab, Utah. It was good timing for the heater, the first day it snowed 6 inches on our party. Installation was a breeze. The three (3) speed fan switch works well for regulating heat. I installed a ball valve inline with the water supply so I can turn it off in the summer. Delivers plenty of air flow for any jeep with a rag top. Comes with instructions for an easy electrical hookup. High quality construction. This heater would be a good addition for the rear seat passengers.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HEATER FOR ANY VEHICLE THAT NEEDS SOME HOT AIR.
Mojave Heat for the rear seat May 28, 2009 The Ogre (Enumclaw, Wa USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this heater in order to provide additional cooling for my small block V-8 (addition of coolant to the system, as well as additional heat transfer) and the added benefit of providing heat to the passengers in the back of my FJ40 off road Toy. The unit was too large to mount in the back, but since I purchased the plenum box, I was able to mount it between the bucket seats and aim the 2 1/2" duct to the rear. This has worked out well. My first outing included many hours of steep hill climbing that would normally stress the coolant system, but I was able to crank the rear heat on high (noisy, but drowned out by the V-8) and keep the temp. down to 200 - 210. The unit seams very sturdy and I feel it was a good value.
Great little heater!!!!! November 24, 2009 Tiny (Phoenix, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A nice product, appears well made (in USA). Easy to install, easily fits in tight places. Puts out a lot of hot air!! I like it.
Good Product but isn't as easy to install as it seems December 16, 2009 T. Moulen 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product works great it's nice to finally have heat in my Jeep but there is noooooo way I could have installed this myself as the direction might lead you to believe. Maybe if you have an old and I mean really old Jeep you can install yourself. I have a 98 Wrangler and I brought it to a custom car shop to get installed and they had a tough time getting it in there. They had to do all sorts of customized cutting and shaping to get it in there. They did a good job and it looks like an original piece of the Jeep now but it ended up costing me $700 bucks to get it installed. They guys there said there's no way an average joe who is a little bit mechanically inclined could have done that alone. It took them 3 days to get it in to make it look good too. It works great but ended up costing me way more than I anticipated in the long run.
